Art Philosophy

Throughout my life I have had a love for painting, I feel at my most relaxed and happiest when I am creating a colorful picture. I paint what ever I feel and when I feel the urge to do so. As my family was growing up I used to use my trade as a decorator with my love for art and paint the most colorful murals around our home. Now they are adults I have the time and patience to paint what I see in my imagination. I enjoy what I do and get excited about each piece I create. All my work is original and very vibrant; I would say my work is contemporary and imaginative. I like the idea of opposites, male and female, light and dark and I get great happiness while I paint them.

Over the last year I have been working on 3D pieces. Currently I am experimenting with different materials such as clay, modrock, and sand to give shape and texture to my works. There will be more of these works in the future I had a lot of fun creating them, so look out for this section there will be more to come.
